Ashley Gollert is an experienced practitioner and researcher of educational technologies whose main focus is in distance education. She holds a Master of Education degree from Athabasca University, and is in the process of completing her Doctorate of Education in Distance Education from the same institution. As present, Ashley’s main focus for her doctoral research is international issues in indigenous education.

Since 2009, she has deepened and shared her expertise in teaching English and Social studies to Jr High and Sr High students education through a variety of teaching, research, and consulting activities. In her years of experience as an educator, Ashley has taught in the classroom and online, reviewed and designed curriculum, provided professional development, and worked as a MOOC course facilitator with Athabasca University. When she is not working as an educator, Ashley loves to spend time travelling with her family. She loves experiencing new places, and interacting with the global community. Ashley is a lifelong learner who finds interest in many things, and is dedicated to helping her students find their path and achieve success throughout their educational journey
