Jenny Bourne is a Canadian educator who has lived and worked both across Canada and overseas for over 20 years. She is from small town Ontario where she grew up in Holland Landing (north of Toronto) and completed her BA in Communication Studies and Bachelors of Education. She has worked in public K-12 schools in Eastern Ontario and in the outer Arctic in Kangirsuk, Nunavik. She also spent 10 years working as a university instructor in South Korea, where she completed her MA in Cultural Studies, and had many life-enhancing experiences in volunteer roles with various segments of society. She has also had experience teaching in post-secondary education in Kazakhstan, and in Ontario, British Columbia and Alberta in Canada. Most recently she enjoyed the role of manager of the English Language Institute at the University of Lethbridge. In her free time Jenny loves to travel, hike, do yoga, ride her bike, read and grow vegetables.
